Studio 28 Ministries is a Christian ministry dedicated to helping dancers know Christ and use their talents to share Him with the world.

We are not a dance studio. Instead, our goal is to partner with local and international dance studios (in and around Union County, NC), youth-centered organizations, and churches to share Christ and meet the physical and spiritual needs of the community through dance.

Based out of Matthew 28:18-20, we believe the best way to accomplish our goal is through four avenues:

Through these avenues, we strive to remind dancers and dance teachers that their talents were created for a much greater purpose.

God’s intention for dance was, and still is, to praise and glorify Him, but it goes so much further. As God redeems the worst and most disgusting parts of our hearts and lives to be used for Him, out of that comes dancing. Psalm 30:11-12 says, “You have turned for me my mourning into dancing: you have loosed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, that my glory may sing your praise and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to you forever!” (ESV).

Dance brings healing because God brings healing. Dance brings joy because God is joy. Dance makes you feel known because God already knows you. Because dance was created by God, it gives us a glimpse into who He truly is and extends us an invitation to fully experience Him.

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.
